Do I need an API key to start?
No. The free tier works with no key — just call the endpoint. Keys arrive with paid plans for higher limits and unmarked images.
Can I remove the watermark?
On the free tier, images are watermarked with chart.hanif.app. Paid plans render without it.
What are the rate limits?
The anonymous tier is rate-limited per IP, and identical requests are returned instantly from cache. Paid plans raise the per-key limits and add a priority render queue.
Which chart library is under the hood?
Chart.js v4, rendered server-side to a native canvas — so the config you write here matches the Chart.js docs you already know.
Can I self-host?
